The community is invited to HOPE Church’s annual Christmas tree lighting celebration on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 7:15 p.m. at the HOPE campus, off Cooper Road in Voorhees. There will be plenty of Christmas carols, hot cider and chocolate, cookies and good holiday cheer for the whole family! What better way to kick off a beautiful Advent season? All are welcome.
Continuing in the Christmas spirit, the Kids of HOPE proudly presents Christmas in Reverse on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 6:45 p.m. You won’t want to miss watching the children in this musical production as they relate the story of Christmas going backwards in time. On Sunday, Dec.13 at 7 p.m. HOPE Players, Voices of HOPE and STAND present The Promise of Light.
On Wednesdays, Dec. 9 and 16 HOPE Church offers the Adult Advent Reflections series from 7 to 8 p.m. Take some time away from the busyness of the season to reflect on the real gift of Christmas. All children age 3 to fifth grade are invited to join the Children’s Advent program running the same nights from 6:45 to 8 p.m. There will be crafts and story times for the kids to enjoy.
On Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 7 p.m., HOPE Church will hold a Family Christmas Service designed to speak to kids of all ages. The same service will be offered again on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 4 p.m. Nursery will be provided at both services. Then, at 7 and 9 p.m., HOPE Church will hold its Christmas Eve Candlelight Services. Nursery is available for that 7 p.m. service.
HOPE Church offers a relaxed, contemporary Christian worship experience and is open to all no matter where in they are in their spiritual journey. Be sure to visit our website at MeetHOPE.org.
